Subsea-on-Demand is IOEMA’s developing model for customers that need faster access to international subsea capacity with greater commercial flexibility than the currently available in the market.

Designed around a combination of shorter-term spectrum constructs, rapid service turn-up, and pre-deployed managed optical building blocks, and supported through the same open ecosystem and marketplace approach that underpins IOEMA’s neutrality.

This model will allow IOEMA customers, particularly new generation of cloud, AI and fast-scaling digital based organisations, to access high-capacity services without being forced into traditional long-duration commitments at a time when market conditions, deployment timing and bandwidth requirements remain fluid.

Over time, this model is expected to extend across partner-delivered optical services, including higher-speed capabilities such as 800GE and beyond where available, while preserving customer choice and vendor flexibility.
